N A M E: Mintpaw
G E N D E R: Female
D E S i R E D P O S i T i O N: Med Apprentice
T H E i M A G E: Mintpaw feels awkward around other apprentices. She's large and lean, and has a much longer body. Her fur is silvery with black dots and stripes. A silver Savannah, one might call her. Her ears are larger than most cats. She sometimes finds herself chirping instead of meowing, and hissing in a strange way.
OOC: She's an F1 Savannah. :]
P E R S O N A L i T Y: Mintpaw is different from the other apprentices. She's quiet, and calm. Her voice is soft, especially when she sings. She's a bit slow, and shy, but she's a wonderful singer. She has often been praised about it. She doesn't talk much, and many think she's stupid or retarded. But she's not. She's just different. Unique. Like a splash of purple in a sea of blue. She doesn't seem to mind.
M E M O i R S: Lightstep was her name. She had gotten lost, somehow. All around her, snow fell. She couldn't see where to go, what to do. She might have had to sit there and wait till it blew over. But a tom showed up. He charmed her, attracted her. He let her stay with him for the night while the storm ended.
Lightstep was surprised that any tom might like her. She was so different and large and long. She chirped instead of meowed. Hissed more like a snake than a cat. She knew what she was. A serval. Twolegs had bought her, but she escaped and came here as a kit. Through the snow.
The next day, Lightstep went back to camp. She was silent for that moon. Didn't speak much. Her stomach was growing. With kits. She was pregnant. No one else seemed to notice. Then again, no one noticed her anyway unless it was sneering or jeering at her size.
Lightstep soon kitted. There were three kits. One, a tan Savannah tom. The next a stillborn. And the third a silver Savannah she-kit. The latter was Mintpaw, or Mintkit as she was known as at the time. The former was her brother, Beekit.
Mintkit disliked fighting as a kit. She thought it made cats unhappy, and she didn't want anyone unhappy. Naturally, she wasn't very popular with other kits. But mostly it was due to her being so quiet and shy. Her brother was the exact opposite. He was popular, competitive, and arrogant.
Mintkit became the medicine cat apprentice at five or six moons. Her brother became a normal, warrior apprentice. Mintpaw and Beepaw soon drifted apart. They're not as close as they used to be. Although they grew closer when their mother disappeared one day.
