D E S i R E D P O S i T i O N: Medicine Cat
T H E i M A G E:
Dragonmoon has a slightly fluffy, creamy white pelt. Her face, ears and forelegs are a silvery gray. Her tail is a mix of pale silver and ginger, creating a pale brown colour. Her eyes a dark blue. Her back left leg is twisted, unmovable, and presses against her stomach slightly, making movement hard at times. She is a small cat, sleek and slender, not made for fighting.
P E R S O N A L i T Y: Dragonmoon is a caring she-cat. She loves to listen to Elders and their stories, as she did a lot after the accident that broke her leg. She is a motherly she-cat, often scolding warriors when they get injured, though she does it in a kind way. She hates to fight, whether verbal or physical, and does everything she can to avoid it. She tends to watch others with a skeptical look about her at times. What Clan a cat belongs to means little for her, if they're injured or ill she'll help them. Her friends are her support, she will freely talk of her problems with them.
Unfortunately, the she-cat is very argumentative at times and very stubborn.
M E M O i R S: Dragonmoon was born to a devoted she-cat who had gone into labor after leaving the TempestClan camp. Without the help of a medicine cat, the she-cat lost too much blood and died in the bush where she gave birth. It didn't take long for a patrol to find the kits, but they were still too late. The 4 other kits were dead and Dragonmoon was barely clinging to life. Taken back to camp, Dragonmoon was kept in the Medicine Cat den under the care of the Medicine Cat, her new adoptive mother and her biological father. She was 2 moons when she entered the nursery for the first time with her adoptive sister. Her father was extremely protective of her and very depressed with the loss of his mate - this forced a wedge between her adopted mother and father. One day, when the kits were 5 and a half moons old, her mother actually attacked her father. In the fight, her father killed the she-cat that had raised her by accident. Ashamed of himself, he grabbed Dragonmoon and ran. He reached a twoleg home and sat the distraught Dragonmoon down so he could hunt; he didn't realize her had sat her on the dirt driveway. She heard the monster coming, but didn't get out of the way in time - the monster broke her leg. Her father came back when he heard her cries of pain, but didn't know what to do. The guilt building on his shoulders, he took her back to TempestClan territory, meeting the patrol that had been sent after him.
After that, her father was banished and she was left with the knowledge that she could never become a Warrior. Once her leg had healed enough, she was chosen as the Medicine cat Apprentice. She learnt quickly, excelling at healing. At 19moons, her mentor passed away and she was made the new Medicine Cat.
Note: Dragonmoon is a Medicine Cat I have used on Dawn of the Warriors Cats and Warriors: The New World.
