What's a bio? Well a bio is basically just a post telling us all about your character. Just what they look like, act like, their past, their rank in the clan, their name, etc. The usual stuff.
Where do I post my bio? In the correct sub-board. As you can see, under this board, there are five sub-boards, one for NocturnalClan cats, one for TempestClan cats, one for SolarClan cats, one for cats of the Camarilla, and another for other cats such as loners, rogues, kittypets, or other creatures [yes, they are allowed but will be limited if the site gets flooded with them].
So, I've posted my bio. Now what? After you've posted your cat's bio, please just wait for a staff member's acceptance. We won't tolerate a thousand pms from a member saying "I made my bio! Why haven't you accepted it yet?" only about five minutes after it being posted. You must wait at least two days before asking a staff member to check out your bio. It probably will be done a lot quicker than that, but if it gets skipped or you've modified it without saying so, only then may you pm a staff member about it. Once the bio is filled out correctly, it will be accepted and you can start RPing them.
Holy kumquat! Where'd my bio go!? Under the statistics section of each clan/alliance, there is a sub-board for accepted bios. This is where your bio will go after being accepted.
You people are confusing me with all your bio talk. So....come again? If this is confusing you, you can view Celestialstar's bio as an example. It is stickied in the Accepted Bios sub-board of NocturnalClan [or simply click on his picture in the side boxes].
Ok, you keep telling me about this bio, apparently it requires a form. Where in StarClan is it? This is simple, all you do is go to this board where it lists all unaccepted bios, then click 'New Thread'. Voila! Like magic, there's the form.
Ok, you do realize that form is incredibly ugly and boring, right? Yes, we do realize this, and if you'd like to decorate your form to make it look nice, you can do this. After posting your bio, you can click 'Modify', then 'Preview', and then you'll have the regular reply box there. You can then decorate it however you want with one exception. You must keep all the fields there and filled out. You may reorder them, just keep them all there.
